首个设于港铁站的「绿在区区」回收便利点在青衣启用。
「绿在青衣」设于东涌线青衣站往香港方向大堂，朝九晚七开放，日常有两名职员当值。营运商要在港铁指定时段运走回收物，避免影响车站运作。在开放时段以外，市民仍可摆放回收物，港铁职员会代为保管。
而即日起，「绿绿赏」会员可使用积分兑换成港铁积分，换领港铁单程票。
环境及生态局局长谢展寰称，各区会陆续增加回收点，配合八月一日实施的垃圾征费。
环境及生态局局长谢展寰表示：「目前全港设于贴近民居的绿在便利点已有四十个这么多，连同11个回收环保站，现时有超过130个。每周定时定点，以街站形式运作的回收流动点，全港加起来就有180个公共回收物收集点，同时我们将回收便利点逐步扩展到五十个公共屋村，现在已有八间开始营业，其余会在四月一日前后开始运作。」
