首個設於港鐵站的「綠在區區」回收便利點在青衣啟用。
「綠在青衣」設於東涌綫青衣站往香港方向大堂，朝九晚七開放，日常有兩名職員當值。營運商要在港鐵指定時段運走回收物，避免影響車站運作。在開放時段以外，市民仍可擺放回收物，港鐵職員會代為保管。
而即日起，「綠綠賞」會員可使用積分兌換成港鐵積分，換領港鐵單程票。
環境及生態局局長謝展寰稱，各區會陸續增加回收點，配合八月一日實施的垃圾徵費。
環境及生態局局長謝展寰表示：「目前全港設於貼近民居的綠在便利點已有四十個這麼多，連同11個回收環保站，現時有超過130個。每周定時定點，以街站形式運作的回收流動點，全港加起來就有180個公共回收物收集點，同時我們將回收便利點逐步擴展到五十個公共屋邨，現在已有八間開始營業，其餘會在四月一日前後開始運作。」
